The popular Pink Nightclub closes in the end of May. A new bar will be opened on the premises later on. The new bar will not be queer-oriented.

The gay scene in Tampere will be worse off without Pink. Blue Oyster Bar, Mixei and Leimarit club, which is organised every few months at Yo-talo, provide the gay bar and club services in Tampere.
